THE ATE & KUYA PROGRAM

"The terms Ate and Kuya have significance in Filipino culture. These terms show the respect given to someone who is older, wiser, or more experienced. Although they are typically used to refer to an older sibling, the terms can also be used to refer to an individual that is older than oneself."

Deciding to join the Ate/Kuya 2018-2019 Program is an exciting opportunity to connect with others in FSA, and in the Filipino community. Based on a series of events such as Speed-Friending, the Photo Scavenger Hunt, and Karaoke Night, new members can meet other members, and get further involved in FSA.
